In collaboration with the MHPD, the Mayor’s Office and City Council, NEIGHBORS ON DUTY (NOD) will allow residents to become more involved in crime prevention throughout the city. Involved citizens are the most effective crime fighters and can report suspicious activity as it occurs. Programs such as this have been successful in communities like ours throughout the nation.
Neighbors on Duty will provide email updates often and host in-person meetings every quarter to receive important updates from our MHPD on statistics, tips and training for crime prevention and receive information on future opportunities to become a part of making our community a safe zone.
